Football Journalist

Founder of Brighton Squawk

Football Journalist with wide-ranging knowledge – with a particular focus on the English game.

Since starting my career in 2017, I have produced hundreds of published articles achieving hundreds of thousands of views every month. While studying MA Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University, I created TV Packages, Radio Packages and a documentary.

My main passion is reporting on football, no matter the level. This passion is one of the reasons behind the inception of Brighton Squawk. There are many teams in Sussex that have their own fascinating that deserve to be told.

Having moved to Brighton and Hove in January 2020, I did some work with the local TV station, and I was introduced to the story of Southwick FC. The oldest club in Sussex was forced out of their home.

Speaking to A

ttila the stockbroker about the story of Southwick 1882 FC

While covering this story, it inspired me to give more promotion to similar-sized clubs in the area. After the news of PPV on Premier League teams making the cost of watching top-flight football even more expensive.

This means further separation between fans and their clubs. I believed that football fans showed be informed of the local football stories around them.

#footballforfans

At the moment, we only have the capabilities to cover a few teams, but hope to grow and provide coverage to more teams that have their own story to tell.
